A Ski Holiday at Anglers Reach Caravan Park

Selwyn Snowfields, just a 30 minute drive, is a pleasant family friendly ski resort at Mt Selwyn. Adaminaby is the closest town to this ski area which specialises in economical skiing from beginner/intermediate skiers.

While not featuring the longer runs and steeper slopes of Thredbo and Perisher, Selwyn offers friendly, personalised service and is a great place for your family’s first ski holiday. The adjacent area also features some great cross-country skiing.

To get to Thredbo simply drive through Adaminaby, Berridale, Jindabyne and turn left in the Thredbo Valley after Jindabyne.

Perisher, the largest resort in Australia with over 50 ski lifts and the Swiss style rack mountain railway, Ski Tube. After leaving Jindabyne, take the Kosciuszko Road to Perisher Valley. If youwant to avoid the long drive up throught the high country, take the Thredbo Valley road to Bullocks Flat where you can board the Ski Tube and be whisked up to Perisher or Blue Cow in 17 minutes! Sure beats lying in the snow putting on snow chains.
